The Motivation
This corporate golf events company travels throughout the Southeast with its mobile golf simulator bays to bring golf play and instruction to businesses to deliver fun, learning and team building. They needed an ideal mat solution for their various mobile units that would not only provide the highest levels of performance to support their teaching, but would also be easy to assemble and break down when they were done. Fiberbuilt's Player Preferred Series Studio Mats were the ideal choice, with a hitting surface that provides the most accurate simulation of the launch conditions of real fairway turf, with the greatest level of feedback in feel and sound. They are also constructed on a modular rubber base system that allows for tool-free setup so they can be assembled and disassembled quickly. And Mobile Golf Events chose to use a center-hitting mat configuration so both right- and left-handed players can participate.

The Impact

We added the Fiberbuilt Player Preferred Studio Series hitting mats to our Mobile Golf Events simulator setups last year and they’ve been awesome! The weighted bases keep the mats from sliding around and the hitting surfaces respond really well, providing more accurate shots [on the simulator], especially for fat shots. Plus portability is important to us with our event setups, so the way they break down and pack up nicely for us is an extra benefit!
