The Motivation
Tom Buzbee, the director of golf for this municipal course in Boulder, Colorado, had purchased Fiberbuilt Grass Series Traditional Mats at his previous facility and knew he wanted the same for Flatirons. With the heavy public use of the practice facility, having the most durable hitting surface possible was the key factor in the decision. And the flexibility of the double-hitting Traditional Mats allowed for both right- and left-handed golfers to be able to hit on the mats. Three years now and still going strong.
