The Motivation
The KBS Golf Experience in Carlsbad--the only KBS retail location in the U.S.--offers a brand store, custom and retro-builds, club repairs and more. But providing full fittings is where it really provides a one-of-a-kind experience. That means the accuracy of its TrackMan launch monitor metrics is paramount, and having the best hitting surfaces to deliver those true launch conditions is somewhere that they can't compromise. So we partnered with KBS to install two different Fiberbuilt Golf mats in their hitting bays: a custom 10' x 4' Player Preferred Series Single-Hitting Studio Mat for their primary fitting bay and a 9' x 4' Fiberbuilt Grass Series Center-Hitting Studio Mat for more public simulator use and also fitting left-handed players. The result has been the launch monitor metrics that the fitters need for premium fittings, as well as feedback in sound and feel that makes the quality of their customers' impact very obvious.

The Impact
