The Motivation
With Troon taking over the management of this beautifully designed course tucked away in Valley Center in the eastern part of North San Diego County, the focus has continually been on upgrading the golfer's experience. The latest effort has been to improve the facility by adding Trackman Range and an artificial tee line to augment the practice area's grass tee line. Looking for the highest-performance artificial hitting surface to deliver the most realistic launch conditions, as well as great looks and durability, the club chose to install two Fiberbuilt Grass Series Ultimate Tee Lines to cover the full width of their large range area. The individual hitting bays were all expertly configured to match the layout of the Trackman screens along the range's curved pad. The result has been an immediate uptick in range usage and a leveling up of the facility.
The Impact
We're thrilled to introduce our new Fiberbuilt synthetic tee line at Native Oaks Golf Club. The Fiberbuilt team was able to was able to configure our two new tee lines to match the curvature of our concrete deck. The tee line was easy to install, and complements our new range technology. We’re seeing an influx of novice players--who were previously intimidated by hitting off natural grass--using the range when we’re on the synthetic tee.
