The Motivation

Theory8 Golf, run by instructor BJ Szafran, teamed up with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to provide its guests with free golf lessons to help encourage patronage of its world-class Golf Collection and create engagement and customer loyalty. BJ needed a high performance golf mat to work with his simulator setup that was also completely mobile in order to take his system to multiple locations. He partnered with Fiberbuilt Golf to use Fiberbuilt Grass Series Hourglass Pro Mats to meet all of his criteria. The effort has been highly successful with Wyndham Rewards members, and the Hourglass Pro's ultra-durable Fiberbuilt Grass hitting surfaces will be an asset as the program accommodates participants on a continual basis.

The Impact

We recently received our Hourglass Pro Studio Mat and it is truly the best decision we have made for our students to practice and train on. With our in-studio lessons or traveling to multiple location sites, the Hourglass Pro studio mat is the most versatile around. But the best part about the mat is its lifelike hitting turf feel coupled with its soft fairway feel stance area, giving our players true contact feedback without harsh vibrations to the hands and arms. The mat also helps teach players proper alignment and swing path with its easily added alignment rods, and as a teaching professional I always recommend students utilize those. We wouldn’t consider using anything else for our players at this point. It's that good!
