Orange Lake Golf - Fiberbuilt Grass Series Traditional Mats - Double-Hitting

The Configuration
12 Double-Hitting Traditional Mats (6' x 4')

The Install Date
Summer 2023

The Motivation
This 54-hole golf complex just outside of Orlando is a premium destination for playing and practicing in Florida. When the management wanted to install mats for their Toptracer Range area, durability was the top criterion due to the anticipated volume of use. And having realistic impact conditions was key to supporting the accuracy of their simulator experience. Those factors drove the decision to install Fiberbuilt Grass Series Traditional Mats in the individual bays. The double-hitting configuration provides them with the flexibility to accommodate both right- and left-handed players, and the integrated Adjustable Tees allow the players to change the tee height to practice tee shots with any club. And the club also likes the modular construction that lets them just order and replace the specific turf sections of the mats as they wear, rather than having to purchase entirely new setups.

The Impact

"These mats are very realistic when it comes to club interaction with the ground. They provide good feedback, and the integrated tees are very easy to use. I like that they are easily adjustable, and replaceable, which will ultimately save my club money in the long run."
