The Motivation
This highly touted course in Carlsbad, California, in the heart of the golf industry, needed to upgrade its range experience to bring it to the level of its incredible facilities and meet the demands of its players. Its old artificial turf tee line not only looked worn thanks to a high level of both daytime and nighttime usage, but its surface was also incredibly compacted. This caused a lot of clubhead bounce at impact and caused joint pain for players and stressed their clubs. The club wanted a great-looking new tee line that provided the performance its players demanded, as well as high levels of durability and injury prevention. A FIberbuilt Grass Series Ultimate Tee Line was installed to achieve all of the club's goals and accommodate their curved pad.
