The Motivation
When Valleywood Golf Course in Minnesota wanted to update its wide, curved range with new mats to complement its beautiful grass practice area, they wanted great-looking, high-performance mats that would provide exceptional durability to maximize their investment. After experiencing a demo of Fiberbuilt Grass mats, the course's head pro loved the hitting surface and felt that it would be a superior teaching surface for his students. Its realistic fairway grass feel as well as its forgiveness had huge appeal, while the surface's extreme durability (and ability to rotate the hitting panels for maximum use) made for a perfect solution for the course. They ultimately installed twenty-six single-hitting Fiberbuilt Grass Traditional Mats for right-handed players, plus three double-hitting mats to accommodate both right- and left-handed players.
