If you're going to build out a first-class, custom simulator room, you're not going to want to cut corners. Unless, of course, you're literally cutting the corners (and edges) of your golf mat to create a wall-to-wall practice surface. At Fiberbuilt Golf, we frequently help our consumer customers design custom Combo Mats (hitting and putting surfaces combined) that fill the entire width of their home simulator rooms, providing the cleanest and most elegant solutions possible.

Custom wall-to-wall Performance Turf Series Combo Mat with surrounding fringe turf, installed in Aviara Golf Academy's TaylorMade Performance Center fitting bay.
How do we do this? All of our mats are built on a modular rubber base system, which consists of 2'x2' (and sometimes also 1'x1') sections and, in standard configurations, includes an edge that surrounds the entire mat. In order to extend the mat dimensions for a wall-to-wall installation, we use edgeless base pieces and fill any remaining spaces to the walls with Styrene pieces that are trimmed to fit. Then we extend and trim the turf that lays on top of the base to the ends of the walls for an incredibly clean and classy look.
Custom-cut Styrene spacer pieces and rubber base pieces to fit the mat wall-to-wall.
With our modular base design and ability to cut turf to any size, we can accommodate virtually any dimensions for wall-to-wall practice area installations. And our Combo Mats are available with any of our premium hitting surface options.
