The Motivation
One of the most progressive facilities in the San Diego area, Arrowood Golf Course has been continually upgrading its range experience over the last few years, including the launch of its Flight Deck Toptracer Range Lounge and the installation of Toptracer mobile technology for its full tee line, including a monitor for each stall. To further enhance its practice and entertainment environments, the course wanted to upgrade its hitting surfaces in both areas to reinforce their premium positioning. The goal was to elevate both the looks and performance to match the high-level golf experience that its players have come to expect, while also maximizing the durability and longevity of its hitting areas. The course installed a Fiberbuilt Grass Ultimate Tee Line for its primary range area while putting in custom-configured Fiberbuilt Grass Studio Mats in its Flight Deck area. The result has been improved aesthetics for the entire range, with hitting surfaces that both feel great for players and deliver the most realistic launch conditions available to support its Toptracer technology.
