The Motivation
GOLFTEC, the global leader in in-person golf instruction, was looking to standardize the hitting mats they used in their teaching studios around the world. Most importantly, they needed to replace their original mats, which continually slid out under their students' feet, with a solution that provided total stability. They also needed their mats to accommodate both right- and left-handed players while providing extreme durability to accommodate their high volume of lessons. It was important for them to trust a new hitting surface to deliver the most realistic simulation of real fairway launch conditions in order to provide accurate data for all of their diagnostic technologies (simulators with launch monitors). This way they could give the best possible feedback to their students.
The Fiberbuilt Grass Series Double-Hitting Traditional Mats offered the perfect solution with a rubber foundation that provided the stability they required, along with the Fiberbuilt Grass hitting panels that delivered a long-lasting, high-performance hitting surface.
