The Motivation
John Keenan Jr., a professional golfer and teaching pro, wanted to develop a first-class studio for JFK Golf to support both of his pursuits. It was critical for him to incorporate a premium hitting surface that not only looked great in a top-level studio setting, but also provided the most realistic simulation of hitting on real fairway grass. Fiberbuilt Golf's Player Preferred Series Center-Hitting Studio Mat was the ideal solution, delivering a hitting surface (Pure Impact Turf) that provides the most accurate launch monitor metrics for the studio's simulator, as well as the feedback in feel and sound that is meaningful for guiding golf practice. And the center-hitting mat also provides the studio with the flexibility to accommodate both right- and left-handed students. John sunk the mat, including its rubber base, into the floor to be level with the rest of the surface in the room, creating the ultimate practice area and teaching studio.

The Impact

As a professional golfer and coach, I have hit a lot of balls off of various conditions, both indoors & outdoors. Without a doubt, the Fiberbuilt golf mat provides the most realistic experience out there. From the feel of the club hitting the turf to the sound of the strike, I couldn’t be more impressed.
